The hotel has a charming vibe with its historical decor and friendly ambiance, but it does show its age with some worn furnishings and outdated amenities. The ocean views are absolutely stunning and provide a great backdrop for relaxing. Unfortunately, there were a few downsides, like the lack of outlets in the rooms and thin walls that let in noise from neighboring guests. Overall, this could be a decent choice if you prioritize location and ocean views over modern conveniences.

The hotel has a prime location near the beach and various attractions. While the views from the older towers are impressive, the rooms are in need of significant upgrades, which affected my overall comfort. I appreciated the decent dining experience, but service can be inconsistent. The amenities, particularly the pool, could use some improvement, as I found them less than ideal during my stay.

I had a great stay overall at this hotel! The view from my room in the Pacific Tower was absolutely stunning, and I found the Sunday brunch to be a wonderful deal. However, I did notice that some of the rooms could use an update, particularly the older ones. The facilities, including the pools and jacuzzis, were fantastic and perfect for relaxation. It's worth noting that if you don't have a specific timeshare, you might end up in an outdated room, which is a bit disappointing.

Still, the atmosphere was welcoming and family-friendly, making it a great getaway.
